This year, USAWKF will lead a large team to attend the 7th World Wushu Championship (7WWC) in Macao, which will be held from November 2 to November 8, 2003. The event is the official World Championships hosted by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) and organized by the Chinese Martial Arts Association of Macao. With the increase of IWUF memberships to nearly one hundred this year, we believe this may be the biggest WWC ever hosted.

The 45 member US Team will be led by Delegation Leader, Anthony Goh and Team Leaders Lu Xiaolin and Tat Mau Wong. It consists of 13 officials, 8 Taolu athletes, 9 Sanshou athletes, and 15 observers.

The athletes, selected via 2 team trials with the Sanshou held in Atlanta late June and the Taolu held in northern Virginia late July, are the best athletes we have to represent our country in this prestigious world event. We wish all of them the best of luck and we are looking forward to a very exciting competition in Macao.
