Dear USAWKF Members and Friends:
Greetings from USAWKF!
I am writing to inform you about some exciting upcoming events happening this summer.
2003 INTERNATIONAL WUSHU-KUNGFU FESTIVAL & CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2003 International Wushu-Kungfu Festival & Championships will take place on July 26th and 27th at Northern Virginia Community College. Since the first festival was created in 1998 it has become one of the most well attended Wushu-Kungfu events in Pan-America. From 1998 to 2001, this annual event always draws competitors and masters from across the U.S. and around the world. It attracts 600-800 competitors from approximately 20 countries.
This year the Festival is being held in Annandale, Northern Virginia and organized by USAWKF Vice President Lu, Xiaolin. We are anticipating a turnout similar to that of past years. So far, competitors from 14 countries are planning to attend.
For more information regarding registration, fees, travel, and hotel please visit www.usawkf.org or www.omei-wushu.com. Please note that the registration form lists all the competition categories. Also, a flyer that lists the key information of the festival can be downloaded from the front page of the USAWKF website. For inquiries please email to: o_mei@yahoo.com.
