Vacanies for U.S. Sanshou Athletes in 5th Pan American Wushu Championships
Sanshou athletes who are interested in participating on the U.S. Team to compete in the 5th Pan American Wushu Championships (PAWC) are advised to contact Mr. Tat Mau Wong, Chairman of Sanshou Committee. There is not enough Sanshou athletes to participate in the upcoming PAWC for the following reasons: 1) During team trial in 2003, only 5 men and 4 women Sanshou athletes were selected for the U.S. Team, according to the number of athletes allowed by the World Wushu Championships 2) Some athletes are unable to participate in 5th PAWC and therefore vacancies are available. 3) 5th PAWC allows 11 men and 7 women participation.
