USAWKF Invites You to Participate in
The 1st World Traditional
Wushu Festival in China
October 16-20, 2004

1st World Traditional Wushu Festival
October 12-22, October 12-26, or October 14-21, 2004

Join USAWKF leaders and renowned U.S. Masters in an official visit to China - First time ever!

Join the Masters' Delegation with renowned Masters from the U.S. including:

Wang Jurong, Anthony Goh, Lu Xiaolin, Randy Li, Malee Khow, Tat-Mau Wong, Richard Wan, Hongchao Zhang, CP Ong, Cheng Jincai, Calvin Chin, Sam Chin, Siu Fong Evans, Shudong Li, and many more to be announced!

Compete in or observe the 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival and Championship organized by the International Wushu Federation (IWuF). Compete with hundreds of teams from nearly 100 countries and regions!

Visit historical and cultural places including the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Warriors, Shaolin Temple and the heavenly scenery of Guiling and Lijiang River!!

Group A: October 12-22, Cost $2450
Group B: October 12-26, Cost $2995
Group C: October 14-21, Cost $2250

Includes:
$2450 (Group A) (Oct. 12-22) OR $2995 (Group B) (Oct. 12-26) OR $2250 (Group C) (Oct. 14-21): Round trip airline transportation, U.S./Beijing and Beijing/U.S. based on economy class service • All air and land transportation in China • 5-star hotel in Beijing and comparable accommodations in outlying areas, except during stay in Zhangzhou, 3-star provided by Organizing Committee of the 1st WTWF • All meals in China • Registration and administration fee, meals and hotel accommodations for 1st WTWF • Martial Arts Training at sites specified in the day by day itinerary • Cultural performances, sightseeing, entrance fees, special meetings, briefings, lectures and professional activities as outlined in the day by day itinerary • A professional, bilingual Chinese national tour manager who will accompany the delegation during their entire time in mainland China as well as local guides in each city or town • Interpreters as required during scheduled activities • All tips to porters and other hotel/restaurant server personnel for group services • Delegation Journal • 2 Official USAWKF T-Shirts.

Not included:

Passport and Visa. Each person must apply in person for his/her own passport to a Passport Office or Clerk of the District, State or Federal Court. USAWKF may apply for visas, but the participant will be invoiced for the visa fee • Airport taxes and similar charges assessed by an airport facility and based on prevailing local conditions which change from time to time. Such fees are $10-20 and would not exceed $50 for the entire program • Individual and special service requests and tips for national and local guides and drivers are not included • Overweight luggage • Additional Wushu training.

ITINERARY: Group A & B

Oct. 12: Depart from any U.S. City

Oct. 13-14: Arrive in Beijing. Visit Tian An Men Square; The Forbidden City; The Great Wall; Taste Peking duck dinner; Enjoy Acrobatic Show. Stay at luxury hotel.

Oct. 15: Air to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Register with 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival (WTWF) Organizing Committee.

Oct 16-20: Participation in 1st WTWF as competitor or observer in Welcome Banquet, Opening Ceremony, Competitions, training in Chen style Taiji, Shaolin Temple forms available. Stay in 3-Star hotel.

Oct. 19 & 20: Visit the famous Shaolin Temple, Competitions, Thesis seminar, Closing Ceremony.

Oct. 21: Group A returns to Beijing by air, stay in luxury hotel. Last minute shopping at Wangfujing marketplace. Return to U.S. on Oct. 22.
Group B departs from Zhengzhou to Xian via deluxe air-conditioned bus.

Oct. 21-23: Visit the world famous Terra-cotta Warriors, Huaqing Palace, Provincial Museum, Ancient City Wall, Wild Goose Pagodas, Chinese dumpling banquet, enjoy the singing and dancing of Tang-dynasty.

Oct. 23-25: Leaving by air to Guiling, Guangxi Province. The scenery of Guilin has been called the finest under heaven. Boat tour of the beautiful Li River. Visit Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Enjoy the singing and dancing of native tribes.

Oct. 25: Return, by air, to Beijing. Last minute shopping at Wangfujing marketplace.

Oct. 26: Return to U.S.

ITINERARY: Group C Express

Oct. 14: Depart from any U.S. City

Oct. 15: Arrive in Beijing, dinner and accommodations in a luxury hotel.

Oct. 16: Early morning air to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Register with 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival (WTWF) Organizing Committee.

Oct 16-20: Participation in 1st WTWF as competitor or observer in Welcome Banquet, Opening Ceremony, Competitions, training in Chen style Taiji, Shaolin Temple forms available. Stay in our 3-star hotel.

Oct. 20: Return by air to Beijing. Last minute sightseeing and shopping at Wangfujing marketplace.

Oct. 21: Depart from Beijing and arrive in United States.
