PRESS RELEASE - USAWKF Junior National Team Competes In Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) led a delegation of 10 young athletes and 5 officials from the United States to the inaugural World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC). Over 200 athletes from over 40 countries participated in this event.

The Team as a whole performed excellently, recording 10 Top-8 finishes. USAWKF Junior National Team US Team athlete, Catherine Archer, came away with two medals-one silver medal for her staff routine and one bronze medal for her nanquan performance. The USAWKF would like to pass on its congratulations to all the athletes, their coaches, and the competitors' families for making this a successful competition!

We also want to thank the official sponsor of this team, the Tiger Claw Foundation. The Foundation supported all our athletes, the Team Coach, and the Team Manager by providing uniforms for them. We greatly appreciated the Foundation's support.
