2007 USA Sanshou Team Trials New Announcement
The USAWKF is pleased to announce the 2007 National Sanshou Team Trials will be held September 7th - Sep 8th, in Lubbock, Texas. The team trials competition will be organized by the United Martial Arts Training Center, Inc.
Sanshou competitions capture the speed, power, athleticism and technical excellence of martial arts combat. The 2007 team trials competition promises to be an exciting event with fighters from across the country competing to win a place on the 2007 US National Sanshou Team. The fighters selected for the 2007 Sanshou team will represent the USA in 9th World Wushu Championships (9th WWC), Beijing, China November 10-18, 2007, the official world championship of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF). Additionally, the 2007 Sanshou team members will also have the opportunity to become a part of sports history if they are selected/qualified at 9th WWC to participate in the Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008 at the Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium, Beijing, China during the Olympics Games.
